outrageous and deadly weather here. it's hot as hell in our apartment - well over 100 degrees -
but its not as hot as it must be in la canada flintridge, a few minutes away, just above pasadena.
the smoke plumes are so high in the sky that all of los angeles can see it. saturday i thought that hollywood was on fire because the smoke clouds seemed so near.
these videos were made by dan finnerty of pasadena. he is making time lapse movies of the pyrocumulus (!) clouds above the station fires. they are beautiful and a little frightening at the same time.
